This education event will be looking at the ways we can provide precision matched blood transfusion to reduce the risk of harm with the development of antibody formation / alloimmunisation / transfusion reactions and will ultimately help to improve blood stock management of this limited resource. We will also be looking at how difficult it can be currently to provide specific blood to patients with complex transfusion history”
