Transfusion in GI Bleeding and Chronic Liver Disease – 24 June 2026
TP2026 brought together Transfusion Practitioners and colleagues from across England for the first NTPN face-to-face event in many years, with a great turnout and an engaging programme throughout the day.
NBTC and NHSBT have collaborated to create an FAQ document for Transfusion Laboratory colleagues about the blood requirements for solid organ transplant donors who will undergo Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) prior to transplantation.
Blood transfusion has been made safer and more efficient for NHS patients, thanks to a partnership between NHS Blood and Transplant and the National Blood Transfusion Committee.
