The Transfusion 2024 team has been actively engaged in a range of projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and supporting our scientific and clinical workforce. As Transfusion 2024 transitions into Transfusion Transformation, we remain committed to implementing findings from the Infected Blood Inquiry, working closely with stakeholders, including patients and the public, to deliver key quality improvements. The 2025 Undergraduate Medical Degree Transfusion Medicine Survey was developed in collaboration with the T2024 Education Working Group, NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) Patient Blood Management Consultants, and the UK and Ireland Blood Transfusion Network (UK&I BTN).
