Jennifer Rock presented at BBTS on 19th September - A Transfusion Practitioner Professional Development Framework

Jennifer Rock, alongside Wendy McSporran (Advanced Transfusion Practitioner) delivered a presentation at the BBTS conference 'A Transfusion Practitioner Professional Development Framework, how will it benefit transfusion practitioners today and in the future.' Presenting on behalf of the transfusion practitioner framework steering group and working group (England), they provided a comprehensive talk, discussing variation within the role and the challenges facing TP's, such as the lack of career structure, education support and consistency. They outlined their plans to overcome the challenges, hereby meeting the T24 deliverable A2. See the presentation attached.
