Jehovah's Witnesses and Blood Transfusion

Jehovah's Witnesses are the most well-known religious community who decline transfusion of specific blood components. Involving our patients in decisions about their care and respecting their beliefs and wishes, is a fundamental element of the legal and ethical principles of informed consent. Join us for an interview style education session between a Healthcare Scientist and a Jehovah's Witness.
