South East RTC host successful Education Event

The South East RTC hosted a very successful Education Event - Major Haemorrhage and Bleeding.  The virtual event took place on 16 July and topics included:  Review of DOACs and Warfarin Reversal in Trauma Patients, Obstetric haemorrhage, Changing transfusion practice and the example of OBS UK Trial, and Organising a major haemorrhage drill with an external hospital.

IMPORTANT: All content on the eLearning for Health (eLfH) platform will be moving to the Learning Zone during October 2025. Access to Blood Transfusion Training and some other NHS Blood and Transplant modules will be disrupted.

The 2025 Undergraduate Medical Degree Transfusion Medicine Survey was developed in collaboration with the T2024 Education Working Group, NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) Patient Blood Management Consultants, and the UK and Ireland Blood Transfusion Network (UK&I BTN).
