Patient Blood Management Update

An email will be sent to all TPs across England inviting them to help shape the Core Professional Values for the TP role.

Transfusion Practitioners Vicky Waddoups (Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust) and Aimee Burtenshaw (University Hospitals of Derby and Burton) proudly represented the TP community at the IBMS Congress in Birmingham last week.

Since the Transfusion Training Hub was launched in April 2024, there have been over 32,000 visits to the site, mainly from the UK, however it has also reached many other countries such as the US, India, Greece and the Netherlands.
