Patient Blood Management Update

We celebrated the first birthday of the Transfusion Training Hub in April 2025. Created to be a “one stop shop” for transfusion education resources, it is now the most popular feature on the NBTC website with over 32,000 visits during its first year, will yours be the next? 

The 2025 Undergraduate Medical Degree Transfusion Medicine Survey was developed in collaboration with the T2024 Education Working Group, NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) Patient Blood Management Consultants, and the UK and Ireland Blood Transfusion Network (UK&I BTN).

The Transfusion 2024 team has been actively engaged in a range of projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and supporting our scientific and clinical workforce.
