Patient Blood Management Update

Congratulations to Elisabeth Buggins CBE who has been appointed Co-Chair of the National Blood Transfusion Committee (NBTC). 

Since the Transfusion Training Hub was launched in April 2024, there have been over 32,000 visits to the site, mainly from the UK, however it has also reached many other countries such as the US, India, Greece and the Netherlands.

The PBM team are delighted to share that the QS138 Quality Insights team have been awarded the 2024 Bill Chaffe Unsung Hero Award by the British Blood Transfusion Society.
