Registration is now open for the Consent and Legal Aspects of Transfusion, including Infected Blood Inquiry Update, hosted by the South East Regional Transfusion Committee on 29 September 2026.

This free online event will cover consent, legal aspects of transfusion practice and the latest updates relating to the Infected Blood Inquiry. Speakers include patient perspectives from David Abdo of NHS Blood and Transplant and the NBTC patient co-chair Elisabeth Buggins. We also look forward to presentations from the General Medical Council, Lise Estcourt of NHSBT and the SHOT Team.
