This course is open to experienced non-medical healthcare professionals who wish to extend their practice to authorise blood components.
The 2-day course (currently via MS Teams) covers the theoretical knowledge requirement of the non-medical authorisation programme.
Applications can be made via your Transfusion Practitioner after approval from your Hospital Transfusion Committee.
