Blood Essentials - New Transfusion Education & Reference Tool

We celebrated the first birthday of the Transfusion Training Hub in April 2025. Created to be a “one stop shop” for transfusion education resources, it is now the most popular feature on the NBTC website with over 32,000 visits during its first year, will yours be the next? 

We are hosting some drop-in sessions following the launch of RCI Assist to provide an opportunity to ask any questions or get a live demo. The sessions are 60 minutes. Please feel free to join the full session, or pop in and out at your convenience.

The project had a target of 30 hospitals live with Fetal RhD electronic requesting and reporting by the end of the 2024/25 financial year. 

We are pleased to announce that we now have 35 sites live, 27 on Winpath Enterprise LIMS and 8 on EPIC EPR.
