South East Annual Activity Summary

Since the Transfusion Training Hub was launched in April 2024, there have been over 32,000 visits to the site, mainly from the UK, however it has also reached many other countries such as the US, India, Greece and the Netherlands.

The South East Education event: Transfusion Bites - Future and Change took place at the Post Graduate Centre, East Surrey on Friday 27 February 2026.

We have been made aware of a technical issue affecting the blood transfusion shared care communication form. The shared‑care blood transfusion communication form was developed and is owned by the National Blood Transfusion Committee (NBTC) Shared Care Working Group with input from SHOT.
