SHOT & MHRA Haemovigilance Workshops – May 2026

SHOT, in collaboration with the MHRA haemovigilance team, is hosting two free, interactive, in‑person haemovigilance workshops this May. These events are open to all staff involved in transfusion, including clinical teams, laboratory colleagues, and quality or patient‑safety professionals from SHOT/MHRA reporting organisations.

The workshops will provide an opportunity to:

  • Learn directly from SHOT and MHRA experts
  • Discuss transfusion incidents and share best practice
  • Explore human factors and ergonomics
  • Consider lessons emerging from the Infected Blood Inquiry
  • Network with colleagues across the country

Workshop Dates

  • North (Manchester)Wednesday 13 May 2026
  • South (London)Thursday 28 May 2026

Places are limited to 150 attendees per event. Participants are asked to register for one workshop only and must have line manager approval before signing up.
