Workshop- representatives from the steering and working group met in July 2024.

The aim of the workshop was to agree governance, ownership, and the main objectives of the framework.

Main outcomes from the workshop-

The framework should be owned by the TPs and be hosted on the National Transfusion Practitioner Network webpage (NTPN)

Due to a lack of a society for TPs the NTPN should be the recognised hub for TPs.

The NTPN group will update the current agenda and re-launch the NTPN to ensure that the work of the TPs is being highlighted to the NBTC

The framework working group will work with the NTPN. To streamline communications from the working group and to increase engagement with TPs all correspondence will come via the NTPN.https://nationalbloodtransfusion.co.uk/working-group/national-transfusion-practitioners-network
